To save Christmas, separate Christ from commerce

This article by Charles Haynes on the relationship between Christ and what we now call Christmas is outstanding. Not sure where he stands in relationship to Christ and Christianity, but as a Christian myself, I find his views right on the mark. Wish all of who call ourselves Christian could read this.

Very interesting article - as Spolsky's usually are. Certainly don't agree with him on everything, but at least you're encouraged to think.

Why would anyone do this? Who cares what ramblings I may choose to put here?

No one, probably, but perhaps I shall use this as a means of writing about things that are of importance to me -- things that I would love to share with others who may be interested.

But then, that's what a blog is for, right?
